From the opening of the first PlumpJack Wine Store in San Francisco in 1992, PlumpJack has made it a priority to support regional charities through various means. Having grown from one to 14 PlumpJack businesses, the PlumpJack Organization has donated to hundreds of Northern California charities.

PlumpJack utilizes its unique position as a hospitality and retail business to offer charitable donations via several avenues. It's estimated that since its inception, the company has given away approximately $1,800,000 in goods ranging from wine to gift baskets, to hotel stays to clothing for charity auctions and fundraisers. Plus, PlumpJack is a major sponsor in the PlumpJack/LINK Golf Classic to benefit the Northern California Cancer Center. This annual event has raised nearly over a million dollars to help fight breast cancer.

The PlumpJack Wine Store in San Francisco's Cow Hollow district now dedicates the window display to local charities with upcoming fundraising events. The newly-named window display, the "PlumpJack Charity Window" will change regularly and highlight several regional charities and causes.

No strangers to their own hardships over the years, the PlumpJack family was moved to work for a cause that hit very close to home. When they lost their controller, and Hilary’s mother, Tessa Newsom to breast cancer at the young age of 55. As family members of a breast cancer survivor and a victim, Geoff Callan and Hilary Newsom Callan have created the Annual PlumpJack/LINK (Learning, Information, Networking, and Knowledge) Golf Classic. The event raises awareness and money for the Northern California Cancer Center (NCCC) specifically earmarked for breast cancer research and education programs.

PlumpJack takes great pride in helping those in need. And always, they graciously acknowledge the generosity of donations by their vendors which has been a key factor in their fundraising and donation efforts. For example: Courtney Benham of Martin Ray, the producer of PlumpJack's Negotiate wine, Speare, kindly donated 40 cases of Chardonnay to PlumpJack, allowing PlumpJack to give 100% of all proceeds of the $11.99 wine to Dr. Ernest Rosenbaum and Stanford's Cancer Supportive Care Program. It's just one of many examples of the social responsibility PlumpJack feels, supports, and executes.
